How Fashion Can Continue to Grow Sustainably: Upcycling and Recycling

Come la moda può continuare a crescere in modo sostenibile: upcyling e recycling

But fashion, a very important industry for Italy, is based on the combination of growth and marketing: new collections, new products, new models, new colors to attract and stimulate consumers to purchase, satisfying an innate desire (not only female), that of pleasing and feeling good in one's clothes, in search of a style, an identity.
Fashion is important and should not be demonized, but changed. Reduce waste and reuse. Today there are many movements that invite reuse, sharing, second hand.

At Seama we believe and are committed to maintaining sustainable growth: our focus is on the search for innovative materials and processes, new production and business models. This is what inspired us when we founded Seama and introduced the recovery of some components, such as seat belts, combining them with discarded fabrics to create the interiors of our backpacks and bags, mixing them with new materials derived from industrial recycling processes. It is a special recipe, ours, made of creativity, design, eco-planning, innovation, Italian craftsmanship. Upcycling “à la carte” by Seama.
