The impact of fashion: an exponential consumption of raw materials

Ecofashion or sustainable fashion is born from the awareness that fashion is also polluting and a lot, especially regarding the use of raw materials, as well as production and emissions. According to a study by the European Community, it is as if each citizen had consumed an average of 391 kg of raw materials. This is even more shocking if we consider that the raw materials are mainly of fossil origin and in addition to the impact generated, when the clothing is then thrown away and becomes waste, the waste is even more evident.
