On September 26, 2025, on the occasion of the European Researchers’ Night, we launched our project: Piantiamo Cultura, a fundraising initiative for the University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO), aimed at supporting the student community in meeting needs and carrying out projects they have identified themselves.
The fundraising takes place through the purchase of our bookmark, which symbolically represents the value of knowledge as a common and supreme good, and highlights the importance of research and higher education.
The bookmark, entirely handmade in Italy, is crafted from waste materials derived from circular economy processes — made from grape marc, cactus, or orange peel — and is presented on plantable paper containing seeds.
The messages we wish to convey are those of circular economy, sustainability, and commitment to supporting and promoting higher education for young people. Piantiamo Cultura is a message of vision and future-building.
