Summer is coming to an end and we want to remember and thank all those who participated and follow us in our project, both directly and also on social media or with their hearts.
June saw us engaged in the defense of the sea and biodiversity and collaboration in partnership with companies. We support the SEAQUAL community project, or plastic recovery from the seabed and beaches. We used SEAQUAL fabric for our COLORS beach bags, which were the protagonists of a contest with the theme: "what do you do to make your summer sustainable", a contest that had a great response, which demonstrates the interest in environmental defense and which was won by Sofia Benci, a young engineer with an ambitious project in defense of the sea, an interesting story.
The summer collections were presented in Turin, with Colori Vivi, a beautiful tailoring company that employs and trains young people and women who come from disadvantaged conditions, and then followed the Apericena in Cascina, which was held at Cascina Moschino, a farm with a mill in Piedmont. As the sun went down we tasted local products, bruschetta sauces and bread and oil offered by Colle Piccone, another family business. What unites us? The passion for work, for the land and for good products that must be defended and promoted. We believe a lot in synergies and so, strong in this success, we then ended the summer season with another event, Yoga e Nocciole, where we offered our guests a Yoga lesson, to regenerate and enjoy a snack based on hazelnuts and chocolate products from a friendly company, Ca' del Fico.
And we can't miss the Made in Italy event par excellence: our participation in the Miss Emilia Romagna selections where we contributed with our contest, "What is sustainable fashion for you", to test the feelings of the aspiring Miss and where we had a very interesting response. The winner Alessia Selva, expressed an important message, and all the girls were given our SEAQUAL fabric cell phone holder because all the girls were very good and professional and the Chosen Miss honored us by carrying the bag on the catwalk with great elegance. All this encourages us to continue in our mission.
